The Africa Resilience Investment Accelerator (ARIA) recognised at the AVCA Awards 2024

We're delighted to have received the ‘Ecosystem Enabler’ Award at the AVCA Conference Awards 2024. The award recognises organisations ‘advocating for private capital in Africa and driving impactful engagement’.

ARIA is an initiative from British International Investment and FMO, the Dutch entrepreneurial development bank. The platform was created to address a critical challenge in impact investment on the continent: directing capital to frontier markets where it is needed.

Our on-the-ground teams identify investment opportunities and work closely with businesses in five markets: Benin, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Liberia and Sierra Leone. The companies we collaborate with underline the opportunities that exist in these markets. We look forward to going further in future, identifying and highlighting opportunities for our partner development finance institutions.
